Indiana - area 36,354 sq. miles is water (not including jurisdiction over Lake Michigan) ; 37th. state in size: admitted to the Union in 1816.  State flower-Tulip tree Blossom.  Capitol - Indianapolis.  Has over 7,000miles of railroads.  Of interest is the Wyandotte Cave, with some 25 miles of underground passageways and cavern-chambers.
