Welcome to my collection of Linen Post Cards. When I was a child in the 50s my eccentric aunt Hannah sent Linen Post Cards to our house from her adventures. The simple watercolor effect they have gave me many hours of daydreams from her travels. I hope I can share a few with you. Yes cards and daydreams.

County seat of Eddy County, is located in the fertile Pecos Valley. It boasts mild winter climate - average temperature 64 degrees - with fine fishing and hunting in nearby mountains. Carlsbad has the only three Potash Mines in America, but is best known as the Gateway to the famous Carlsbad Caverns Nat'l Park, 27 miles distant. This city and vicinity of nearly 25,000 population has ample accommodations for the throngs of visitors to the Caverns which are open to the Public every day in the year.
Again away from N.Y. but only as far as the northern edge of "The South." This is a short journey and expect to get back by the end of this week. So far I haven't found "Sally Brown or her Pappy's apple jack in these hills of West Virginy." The song say's they are here so I will keep looking. Always, Jack
