Weaving a Grain-Storage Basket
The Papagos, who live in southern Arizona are an agricultural people. The willow reeds and grasses of this region are made into baskets serving many uses - cone shaped burden baskets are fastened to sticks and carried on the back; large baskets of the sort pictured here are used for the storage of grain; small ones are put to various house hold uses, even to extent of holding liquids.

Dear Pen Pal,
You ask for a souvenir my town.
I have one in mind to send you but have not
had the chance to get it. Thanks for the card.
