Welcome to my collection of Linen Post Cards. When I was a child in the 50s my eccentric aunt Hannah sent Linen Post Cards to our house from her adventures. The simple watercolor effect they have gave me many hours of daydreams from her travels. I hope I can share a few with you. Yes cards and daydreams.
FREDERICKSBURG was founded in 1671. It was the boyhood home of George Washington and is rich in history. Views show: The Home of Mary, the Mother of Washington. Rising Sun Tavern. Hugh Mercer Apothecary Shop and the James Monroe Shrine.
