The most historic State in the U.S.A. In the year 1846 the province was surrendered to the U.S.A. and remained a territory until 1912, when it was admitted to statehood. Through one of the oldest settlements, it is the youngest state in the Union and the least known. Its wonderful scenery, delightful climate, primitive Indian and Spanish inhabitants and customs, all add to the interest and curiosity of the visitor to this :"land of manana."
