| FROLICKING ON THE BEACH IN FLORIDA DO PEOPLE STILL FROLICK? |
Welcome to my collection of Linen Post Cards. When I was a child in the 50s my eccentric aunt Hannah sent Linen Post Cards to our house from her adventures. The simple watercolor effect they have gave me many hours of daydreams from her travels. I hope I can share a few with you. Yes cards and daydreams.

I have not seen anything more beautiful than Venice and the Grand Canal.
But just remember at 5am as the sun raises its head,
they have Garbage boats on the canal.
Not quite as picturesque.

"MISSION IMPOSSIBLE"
The founding of the Spanish Missions in California furnished an epic in history. These historical monuments are reminders of the great Franciscan adventure. Years of patient labor, decades of heroic sacrifice by Fray Junipera Serra and his Franciscan Brothers lie behind the era of the founding of the twenty one Missions and their branches, the ruins of which still stand in wonder and beauty, at various points along 690 miles of California's glorious coastal region.

I wish I knew more about these cards they are unused
so that isn't much help.
there is a very small mark in one corner.
Just a couple of initials one on top of the other,
looks like a large "A" and a smaller "s"
and the number 1792
Been there...
Done that!

"SUNDAY FUNNIES"
Sorry I missed the FUNNIES yesterday.
Had to work and also have had trouble with my right eye.
So I am kind of not all here.
Anyway here are your FUNNIES a day late.
