Welcome to my collection of Linen Post Cards. When I was a child in the 50s my eccentric aunt Hannah sent Linen Post Cards to our house from her adventures. The simple watercolor effect they have gave me many hours of daydreams from her travels. I hope I can share a few with you. Yes cards and daydreams.

Will you please consider this an invitation to see and ride in the fine new Pontiac for 1946. You will enjoy this new experience, I'm sure. Also, a ride will give you some idea why owners of prewar Pontiacs are so enthusiastic about their cars. The new Pontiac retain all the basic quality of prewar models and actually has been improved by wartime refinements. We call the new Pontiac the finest of the famous "Silver Streaks" . . . and you will agree that it is when you see it. If you will set a date, I'll be glad to demonstrate the new Pontiac to you absolutely without obligation on your part.

posted: 1948 Tues. Noon Arrive here about 5:30 this morning- made all connections but the crowds were terrible. I feel as if someone had pummeled me. That train in St. L. had already loaded 1/2 hr. before e got there - so standing room only. Two soldiers squeezed me in with them - so we rode, All aisles were crammed. Thanks for everything. Love, Ginnie

Tampa Bay is the largest islet on the western cost of Florida. The Tampa Bay Hotel is 1100 feet long and the main hall is more than 700 feet long. There are about 500 rooms with accommodations for nearly 1000 guests. Broad galleries extend on the south and north fronts from 16 to 26 feet in width, all under cover of roofs, supported by ornamental columns, making a grand promenade.
