Greetings from PAINTED DESERT

ARIZONA
pub: CURTEICH

The Painted Desert of Arizona-a land of undulating plains and beaautifully colored terraced cliffs,  displaying many contrasting colors and striking hues, combined to make a gorgeous spectacle.  One area is along Highway 66, while others are easily reached from Holbrook, Winslow and the Grand Canyon of Arizona.  The delicate hues of blues, reds purple, mauve, etc., are seen best in early morning or late afternoon, as mid-day being void of shadows, the coloring is less vivid

Greetings from WASHINGTON D.C.

pub: The Washington News co.

Washington is probably the most beautiful city in the United States.  if not in the  entire world.  Most of its magnificent buildings are constructed of white marble and its streets are shaded by luxuriant trees and shrubs.  Its memorials, monuments and government buildings and the lovely Cherry Blossoms are famed throughout the world.
