Arrive here about 5:30 this morning- made all connections but the crowds were terrible.  I feel as if someone had pummeled me.  That train in St. L. had already loaded 1/2 hr. before e got there - so standing room only.  Two soldiers squeezed me in with them - so we rode, All aisles were crammed.  Thanks for everything.

We went to Miami, & Miami Beach today.  It poured rain so we couldn't take a boat trip we had planned.  Everything is so interesting! Daddy had to have some work done on the car so we went in Smith's car.  Got ours back late this p.m. & on the way here it poured some more - worse than ever!  We ae staying here tonite & go to St. Pete tomorrow.

Gee I've been so busy and so tired I can hardly write now or keep my eyes open.  I just answered all my card pals to get it off my mind, after a hard days work in the yard, Oh  my those weeds, and they'll be just as bad when I get back.  Well we're leaving San Fernando Jul 6th.  Probably won't get to you until some where in the twenty something day of July.  We'll write you on the way and from Reading.  Gee I hope it isn't going to be so hot as the paper says it is.  Don't write to me now anymore for I won't get it anymore.  Till we see each other auf weidersen.
