T-2 MEMORIAL ENGINE "3 SPOT"
D.&I.R.R.R. TWO HARBORS, MINN.
This famous engine was brought to Two Harbors on a scow in 1883 and was the first in service by the Duluth & Iron Range R.R. Company. In operation for more than 30 years it hauled ore from the greatest iron ore mines in Northern Minnesota. It is now a memorial to the iron ore mining industry.

Mountains last night, desert today, raining so its cool. Have nice Pullman & oil burning engine so trip is clean. I'm in Tucson soon will try and reach Jean Ann. Feeling fine so am enjoying the trip much more than the one coming out. Hope your cold is better. Will write you soon.
