Greetings from DAN DIEGO

pub: LONGSHAW CARD CO.

San Diego was the first city of California.  Here the first Mission was founded in 1769 by Padre Serra at Old Town.  Now due to the natural deep harbor and excellent climatic conditions, it is the center of Naval and Aeronautical projects.

Greetings from SAN FRANCISCO

pub: Stanley A. Piltz

Queen City of the West occupies a 42 square mile area of many hills and overlooks the famous Golden Gate and San Francisco Bay, the finest natural harbor in the world.  A metropolitan area of  two million people of exceedingly wealth, culture, commercial and industrial enterprise has grown in this healthful bay region.  The superb national advantages and indomitable pioneer spirit have already established it as one of the three metropolitan centers-the business capital of the world and second port in the U.S.

Fisherman's Wharf

San Francisco, California
The Embarking and Landing point of the City's many fishermen is located on Taylor St. at the Embarcadero.  The wharf seethes with activity fishermen and their gear, dealers, the shell fish stands, with their big iron cauldrons where freshly caught crabs are boiled, and the neighboring seafood restaurants.
