Tampa Bay is the largest islet on the western cost of Florida. The Tampa Bay Hotel is 1100 feet long and the main hall is more than 700 feet long. There are about 500 rooms with accommodations for nearly 1000 guests. Broad galleries extend on the south and north fronts from 16 to 26 feet in width, all under cover of roofs, supported by ornamental columns, making a grand promenade.
