Dear Jeanne,
Again away from N.Y. but only as far as the northern edge of "The South."  This is a short journey and expect to get back by the end of this week.  So far I haven't found "Sally Brown or her Pappy's apple jack in these hills of West Virginy." The song say's they are here so I will keep looking.  Always, Jack

Greetings from "AMIERICA'S SUPER HIGHWAY"

PENNA. TURNPIKE

pub: "C.T. Art Colortone"

The Pennsylvania Turnpike was projected primarily to break down the barriers formed by the Allegheny Mountains, embodying the most modern principles of express highway design.
The primary objectives have been attained by piercing the highest ridges of the Appalachian Mountains with tunnels; and a separation of all highway and railway grades.
