This comes to you from Holbrook, Arizona, which is the gateway to the Petrified Forest, Painted Desert - the Hopi Indian Villages and the great Navajo Indian Country.
Holbrook was used as a shipping point by the pioneer cattlemen from the advent of the railroad. Much of the early day strife between sheep and cattlemen centered near here. The thrifty Mormons were the pioneer settlers.
