Welcome to my collection of Linen Post Cards. When I was a child in the 50s my eccentric aunt Hannah sent Linen Post Cards to our house from her adventures. The simple watercolor effect they have gave me many hours of daydreams from her travels. I hope I can share a few with you. Yes cards and daydreams.
I have always had a fascination for these beautiful glass conservatories. I always try to get inside if at all possible. Unfortunately have not had the pleasure to visit Michigan.
I grew up in Detroit and it was a wonderful conservatory. I have a photograph of my grandfather with my mother and her brother outside of it about 1925.
