"CHICAGO, CHICAGO that toddlin town"

The Adler Planetarium, located off Roosevelt Road, was constructed at a cost of $1,000,000.  It mechanically reproduces "A Dream of the Heavens". demonstrating the beauties and mysteries of the universe.   For this purpose a Zeiss projector costing over $90,000 projects the planets, scientifically correct, on a vaulted dome.
