Welcome to my collection of Linen Post Cards. When I was a child in the 50s my eccentric aunt Hannah sent Linen Post Cards to our house from her adventures. The simple watercolor effect they have gave me many hours of daydreams from her travels. I hope I can share a few with you. Yes cards and daydreams.
I love the one from 1923 - it always is hard to show the proces of fantasy, imagination, and this seal does! In such a sweet way! Thank you for sharing, and Merry Christmas to you and your dear ones, too!

I have never consider collecting seals before - in fact I don't remember seeing any other than for charities.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.
I am not quite done with Christmas either.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I did not know that the Seals went back so far, into the 1920's.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining in this week!
Merry Christmas, the seals are wonderful and great that the date is printed.
ReplyDeleteA very merry Christmas to you, too!
ReplyDeleteI haven't quite finished with Christmas either.
Love the bell ringing jester. Hope you have as merry a Christmas as he is having.
