Sepia Saturday

I didn't have any Historical Sepia Cards from the Great War,
100 years past.  But I was able to come up with this card of a young boy in uniform showing respect for the Soldiers
who have gone before.
The card is dated 5/11/18
With Best Wishes
to Emma and Family
From Little Georgie Fleming

The Card has been identified at top in hand print as:
HIPPODROME PERFORMER
Looks like Little Georgie may have been on stage spreading the Patriotic Ideal.

  1. The cap looks too big for him -- do you suppose it's his father's?

    1. I can't tell how old he might be. The Face looks older than the rest of the body. What do you think?

  3. A performer, like an early Micky Rooney? Interesting postcard and post.

  4. That’s a serious and determined glint in Little Georgie’s eye! He’s probably older than would appear from his body size; the face, as you say, looks much older.

  5. Wonder if he was in the next war.
