Built by Brigham Young
The Lion House, so named because of the stone monument of a Lion placed over the entrance. This old historic home was built in 1856 for Brigham Young and his family and was used by them until the time of his death. The home is now used as a social and cultural center under the management of the Young Women's Mutual Improvement Association of the "Mormon" Church.
